“Founded in 2023 by passionate Samburu youth , The Brilliant Feminine is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) based in Maralal. We are dedicated to creating an equitable society where women, girls, and youth thrive.”

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a more equitable and just society where all women, girls, and youth in Samburu County can thrive as leaders. We bridge the gap between cultural heritage and modern opportunities, providing access to education, healthcare, economic empowerment, and platforms for cultural expression.

Ending Gender-Based Violence

We actively work to create safe spaces, raise community awareness, train self-defense to the vulnerable and educate on rights to challenge and prevent deep-rooted issues like FGM, child marriage, and domestic violence.

We provide critical sexual and reproductive health education and distribute menstrual hygiene products. This ensures girls are informed, healthy, and can stay in school without interruption or shame.
